Introducing “Young Onez”

The three men that will prove people wrong this season are Amir Johnson, Sonny Weems, Demar Derozan which equal the young onez. These are the three youngsters that will be pivotal in deciding the fate of Toronto Raptors this season. With an alright pre-season we will see what happens when the ball actually drops on October 27, 2010 against New York Knicks. With the anticipated hype with the young onez, (which previous was nicknamed "The Young Gunz") Jay Triano needs to find a thinner base of talent and spread the ball on the offense; the rebounding is still a question, with Ed Davis knee injury still a problem the Raptor will surely be deprived of rebounding and athleticism.

Toronto still has the chance to prove people and the league wrong, given the distinction that they play like the way they played during the preseason. The young onez success with polished games will be a clear distinction of how the team does during the season. They have embraced the Toronto scene and they want to see Toronto strive on the court with some W's, they have a lot to gain and nothing to lose. Amir Johnson has captivated audiences with his athleticism and leaping ability, but we will soon see what impact he has on the court. People seem to forget Toronto is actually in a good position this season with this team because of one reason and that is matchup problems. Toronto has a pretty explosive front court with Barbosa and Jack or Calderon playing the point and the young onez alternating, the team will be a force. Now with the young onez on rotation we think their experience will play a big part in how they fare this season.
